Badger Notes is the new way to access all your maternity records and useful information about your pregnancy at the touch of a button.
This fully electronic system will allow us to do away with the old-fashioned paper notes – benefiting the environment, as well as saving time and making accessing your information easier for both you and our teams.
Our community and hospital-based maternity teams can record and access real-time details of every interaction throughout your maternity journey in our internal BadgerNet system.
This links through to Badger Notes, which you can use to view your records at your convenience. You can also use it adjust your birthing preferences, such as where you want to give birth and details of your birthing partner, from your home computer, tablet, or even your phone, helping to personalise your experience and have direct say in your care.
You’ll be able to easily access week-by-week information about your baby’s development and our midwives will also be able to direct you to tailored information about your care.
Because the system is personalised, you can also add details about yourself, such as occupation and any allergies and add to own plans and preferences for care, before and after birth – and the system is completely secure, as only those with the correct login details are able to access notes.
Midwives will provide people with details of how to create an account and access Badger Notes at ante-natal appointments, though the app can be downloaded anytime from the Apple App Store or Google Play Store.
