Rainbow Clinic

We know that if you have previously lost a baby, becoming pregnant again can be a very worrying time for you, your partner, and your family.

The Rainbow Clinic is a specialist service that will provide you with additional emotional and psychological support, in conjunction with your Community Midwife and Consultant Obstetrician.

Your routine care will be provided by your Community Midwife, Bereavement Midwife and your Consultant Obstetrician team, via the antenatal clinic at the hospital.

The Rainbow Clinic will provide separate appointments and aims to accommodate you as you feel beneficial.

The next step

When attending the booking appointment with your Community Midwife, they will discuss the Rainbow Clinic with you and ask if you would like the additional support.

Following your dating scan, the Bereavement Midwife will contact you to discuss how things are going and arrange an initial appointment if you still wish to access the service.
