A new pilot scheme has been launched in Northern Lincolnshire to support you during pregnancy if your BMI is over 30.
Why have I been referred?
You will have been referred to this programme if your BMI is over 30.
It’s really important for you to be as healthy as you can during pregnancy, to reduce the risks to you and your baby – and that’s why we’re here to support you.
Midwife Laura Caldicott is our Weight Management lead. She said: “We are really excited to be piloting this new programme to help you have the healthiest pregnancy possible.
“You will have our support as soon as you’re referred, right up until three months after your baby is born.
“We will support you to eat healthily and exercise safely, all whilst meeting other mums at our exercise and fitness classes.”
