Can you believe that it’s been a year since we officially opened the new £8-million MRI unit at Grimsby?
We all had a fantastic day when Strictly legend and all-round lovely lady Joanne Clifton joined us for the celebrations in July last year.
And since then, thanks to the dedication and hard work of our radiology team, it’s helped us to make a real difference to the care we’re able to provide for you and your loved ones.
In the last 12 months we have carried out 21,667 separate examinations – that’s an average of 59 every single day.
But what’s meant the most to us, is the amazing feedback you’ve given us about your experience.
Yvonne McManus, the Deputy Manager for CT and MRI at the Diana, Princess of Wales Hospital, said: “When the new unit was completed, we put up feedback boards in the changing areas, where patients can let us know about their experience.
“It’s always so heart-warming to see all the positive comments that have been written on them and to know what a difference our team makes to putting patients at their ease.”
