Services we provide
We provide the following services:
- Journal article requests
- Literature searching
- Health news and bulletins
- Knowledge and library related enquiries
- Browse our catalogue online.
All NHS staff and students also have free access to the NHS Knowledge and Library Hub website. This includes a wide range of books, journals and databases, plus NICE guidelines, BMJ Best Practice documents and more.
To access this resource, you will need an OpenAthens username and password. Register for OpenAthens for free.
Staff can also access the Trust libraries for:
- Study space
- Borrowing books
- Photocopying (may be a charge)
Other services may be available at the discretion of the library manager.
You can also visit the NHS library and knowledge services website. This site includes links to websites which provide reliable health information.
There are many occasions when they helped me. They got me an article at short notice numerous times . They got me books from a different library, as books I requested were not available at Grimsby. I appreciate their dedicated service to the library users. Thank you very much.
