As a provider of health services we are accountable to our commissioners who are responsible for designing, developing and buying local health services for local people.
NHS Humber and North Yorkshire ICB is a statutory organisation accountable for NHS spend and performance for 1.7million people across a region of 1500 square miles. The Trust and the ICB are core members of the Humber and North Yorkshire Health Health and Care Partnership which is one of 42 Integrated Care Systems (ICSs) which cover England to meet health and care needs across an area, coordinate services and plan in a way that improves population health and reduces inequalities between different groups. The Partnership comprises of NHS organisations, local councils, health and care providers and voluntary, community and social enterprise (VCSE) organisations.
